PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

 

 Lead consultant is responsible for working with customers to plan and manage the delivery of an ERP implementation engagement using industry standard implementation methodology.  They help manage the client relationship and are responsible for the project resources. Individuals at this level may be assigned to work with multiple clients in a vertical, under the guidance of senior project manager.  Beyond project delivery, they are expected to work with their managers / vertical leads to support change requests and contract extensions, as well as identify and assist in up sell / cross sell activities
 
 As a lead, responsible for ensuring that an integrated software solution is delivered with high quality, in a timely manner, at budget, and to customer's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the customer to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with SLK internal stake holders and any third-party vendors involved to ensure delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Involve in project/program implementation strategy discussions to bring industry best practices
  • Devise various strategies - Executive Project Strategy, Business and Process Strategy, Data Conversion Requirements and Strategy, Documentation Requirements and Strategy, Architecture Requirements and Strategy, Application Extension Strategy, Transition Strategy, Testing Requirements and Strategy, Performance Testing Strategy, System Availability Strategy
  • Participate in conflict resolution across functional teams and business requirement
  • Identify and document KPIs - Current and post implementation
  • Provide status report to customer and internal stake holders
  • Identify key areas of complexity and drive PoCs, Solution Confidence Building Measures
  • Review and validate Solutions against KPIs identified for the project
  • Ensure compliance of self and team to organizational policies and processes
  • Build best practices and also improvise implementation methodology / strategies 
  • Ensure on-time delivery. Tracking project status against project plan, review and mitigate unplanned risks
  • Support RFI/RFPs in  functional solution space
  • Mentor and Coach teams in functional aspects
  • Identify training and certification needs of the team and ensure completion of mandatory trainings of the team

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

 

  1. Degree: B.E\B.Tech\M.Tech\MCA\M.Sc.
  2. Module specific certifications if available

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

  1. Overall (in years): 10+ years
  2. Relevant (in years): 2 - 3 years
