React Developer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

About the role:

As a Frontend React Engineer, you’ll help build the next-generation user experiences for Worldpay’s embedded payments platform. You’ll work with React, Tailwind, and modern component libraries to deliver intuitive, performant, and scalable interfaces that empower software platforms to seamlessly integrate payments into their core workflows.

This is a high-impact role where your contributions will directly shape how Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) launch, grow, and manage embedded payments programsturning payments from a friction point into a growth engine.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent from a reputed university

What you will be doing:

• Building responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using React and TypeScript
• Developing reusable UI components aligned with Worldpay’s design standards using Tailwind and Flowbite
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Driving a test-driven development (TDD) approach across the frontend codebase
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong coverage
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to frontend architecture decisions
• Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Contributing to the development of embedded components using Stencil

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries like Flowbite or similar
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
• Proven experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, and React Testing Library
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs in an API-first environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines
