Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize cloud hosted databases: PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, MongoDB.
• Perform routine database operations such as backups, restores, replication configuration, and monitoring.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of database systems in production environments.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance bottlenecks, including query tuning and resource optimization.
• Implement database security best practices, auditing, and compliance controls.
• Work closely with application teams to support development, deployments, and data related troubleshooting.
• Perform capacity planning and recommend improvements to ensure optimal database performance.
• Participate in on call rotations for production support.
• Support migration projects, upgrades, patching, and adoption of new cloud native database features.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator DBA in cloud environments.
