PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in banking, financial services, or payment industry, with a focus on operations, product management, or consulting.
  2. Deep understanding of banking operations, payment systems, and financial technologies.
  3. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking and payment industry.
  4. Proven track record of building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving strategic initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary source of knowledge for banking and payment-related topics within the BFSR vertical. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to provide timely insights to stakeholders.
  2. Advisory Support: Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, sales, and customer support, to provide expert guidance on banking and payment solutions. Offer recommendations on product enhancements, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor regulatory changes and ensure that banking and payment solutions adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide guidance on compliance requirements and assist in developing policies and procedures.
  4. Product Development: Work closely with product development teams to identify market needs and opportunities for innovation in banking and payment services. Provide input on product requirements, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning.
  5. Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers and prospects to understand their business challenges and requirements related to banking and payment services. Offer tailored solutions and insights to address their needs effectively.
  6. Training and Education: Develop training materials and deliver educational sessions to internal teams and external stakeholders on banking and payment topics. Help build organizational expertise and awareness in the BFSR domain.
  7. Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by writing articles, whitepapers, and blog posts on relevant banking and payment trends, insights, and best practices. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums.
