PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

1. Proven experience (8 years) as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in the banking or financial services industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of banking systems, payment processing, and financial regulations
3. Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
4. Proficiency in designing and implementing security solutions for financial applications
5. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services relevant to banking and payments.
6. Certification in relevant technologies or frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Collaborate with business analysts, Internal stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Design end-to-end banking and payment solutions, considering factors such as security, scalability, performance, and compliance.
3. Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate design concepts and implementation guidelines.
4. Evaluate existing systems and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
5. Define integration strategies to enable seamless communication between various banking and payment systems.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to banking and payment solutions.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols.
9. Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to integrate their solutions into the overall architecture.
10. Participate in the evaluation and selection of software tools and platforms to support banking and payment initiatives.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

1. Degree: B.E\B.Tech\M.Tech\MCA
2. Certifications (if any): Technology related (Ex: Java, Microsoft)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. Overall (in years): 8 - 10 years
2. Relevant (in years): 2-3 years
